These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at syntax.md (the "Site") operated by SYNTAX GROUP SRL, a company registered in the Republic of Moldova under IDNO 1023600024204, with its registered office at MD-7224, rl. Șoldănești, Republic of Moldova ("syntax", "we", "us").
By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About the Site
The Site provides information about syntax and the software development, design and consulting services we offer. It does not sell anything directly, process payments, or host user accounts. Any engagement for services is governed by a separate written agreement between you and us (a "Services Agreement").
2. Services Agreements
If you hire us, the Services Agreement — typically a statement of work plus our master services terms — sets out scope, fees, timelines, intellectual property, confidentiality and liability for that engagement. If anything in these Terms conflicts with a signed Services Agreement, the Services Agreement wins.
Estimates, timelines or examples given on the Site or in early conversations are indicative only and are not binding until included in a signed Services Agreement.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that breaks applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or any connected systems;
- interfere with the Site's operation, including by automated means that place an unreasonable load on it;
- copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the Site for commercial purposes without our permission.
Reading the Site with curl, feeds, assistants or AI agents for personal or research purposes is welcome — that is why /index.md and /llms.txt exist.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the Site's content, design, code and branding are owned by or licensed to SYNTAX GROUP SRL and protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party names and logos shown in our stack belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; their use does not imply endorsement.
You may link to the Site and quote short excerpts with attribution.
5. Communications
When you email us, you agree that we may reply and keep that correspondence as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send confidential information before we have agreed on confidentiality terms — we are happy to sign an NDA first.

The Site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies or availability, and a link is not an endorsement.
7. Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the Site's accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Content on the Site is general information and not professional advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, syntax will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to 100 EUR (or the equivalent in MDL).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. The competent courts of the Republic of Moldova have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
